The highlight of WWDC 2024 will be the keynote event scheduled for Monday, June 10. During this event, Apple will unveil iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2. The keynote will be accessible via the Apple Developer app, the official Apple website, and YouTube. Additionally, Apple will continue to share videos and information throughout the week.
Special Gathering
While the event primarily takes place online, Apple is organizing a special gathering for selected developers and students on June 10 at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. Attendees will have the opportunity to watch the keynote and State of the Union presentations, interact with Apple employees, and participate in the prestigious Apple Design Awards.
Entrance Details
Entrance to the Apple Park event is exclusive to current Apple Developer Program members, Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni, past Swift Student Challenge winners, and current Apple Developer Enterprise Program members. Participants will be selected through a random lottery process.
Swift Student Challenge
Traditionally, Apple announces a Swift Student Challenge alongside the WWDC dates, but this year’s challenge began earlier. Winners of the challenge, set to be announced on Thursday, March 28, will be granted the opportunity to attend the special event at Apple Park. Moreover, 50 Distinguished Winners will receive an invitation for a three-day immersive experience in Cupertino.
